A termbase is only effective if it is used. We have found that “buy in,” that is, people’s willingness to use a termbase as a reference in their work, really depends on them having a good impression of the system. For that to happen, you need to find ways to customize the termbase to their needs and expectations. In this course, we will add users to the termbase (i.e. create their accounts) and put them into groups of users with similar requirements. With groups based on shared profiles, we can then configure permissions, filters, and views so that they see only the information that they need to see. Groups can also be assigned to workflows, so that you can have certain users do specific tasks in the termbase.
